Understand claim and operator tools in 60 seconds
This page explains who should claim a page, what happens after approval, what GOPAtlas does not do, and where to go if you still have a question.
Who should claim a page?
County committees, clubs, campaigns, candidate teams, and verified contributors should claim the page they actually run. Claiming gives you a weekly operational surface for events, official links, volunteer interest, and county momentum.
What happens after I claim?
Your request is reviewed against public-source records. If approved, the operator dashboard becomes available and you can keep recurring events, contact details, and official links current.
What GOPAtlas does not do
GOPAtlas does not publish comments, feeds, photo uploads, public volunteer lists, or public profiles. It stores structured records and official links only.
Volunteer interest stays private
Volunteer signals are aggregate-only. Organizers see counts, routing summaries, and county momentum, but not a public list of individual people.

Organizer FAQ
Who should claim a page?
County committee leaders, club presidents, campaign staff, candidate teams, and verified contributors who are responsible for keeping the public record current.
What happens after I claim?
Your page enters review first. After approval, you can use the operator dashboard to review recurring events, official links, county momentum, volunteer interest, and freshness warnings each week.
What does GOPAtlas not do?
GOPAtlas does not run comments, feeds, photo uploads, public volunteer lists, or public profiles. It is operational infrastructure, not a social platform.
Is volunteer interest public?
No. Volunteer interest is privacy-safe and aggregate-only. Organizers can see counts and routing summaries, but not a public list of people.
How are official update links handled?
Only verified or claimed organizers can attach official recap, press, livestream, or source links. GOPAtlas stores links and source references, not media uploads.
How long does claim review take?
Claim review is manual and source-based. The request is checked against public records and approval rules before access is granted.
Need help with a claim?
Use the claim form or support page
If you are unsure which page to claim, start with the claim form. If you need platform-level help, use the support page. Both paths stay review-based and do not publish anything automatically.
